week 6 of 2024 Harvest:
bak choy (Li Ren Choi- green stem)
basil (Prospera DMR (CG1))
broccolli (Green Magic)
cilantro (Calypso)
dill flower
kale (Oldenbor)
kale (Rainbow Lacinato or Dinosaur kale)
lettuce (Salanova Green Butter leaf lettuce)
sunflowers (red & plum)
tomato (GoFarm or Espresso)
Some ideas and tips:
Cilantro can stay fresh if you put stems in water (Do remember to change water regularly). You can start by placing your cilantro in a cool part of the kitchen and transfer in a couple of days in refrigerator with stems in water.
For dill, the flower is yellow and the herb is the green part.
For tomatoes, DO NOT refrigerate, store at room temperature for the best taste.
